Canossa Endoscopy Centre is managed by a team of dedicated and experienced endoscopists and well trained nurses. We provide quality and safe endoscopic services to our patients.

The Endoscopy Centre consists of two endoscopy rooms and another room with negative pressure for performing Bronchoscopy. All rooms are equipped with advanced endoscopic equipment to facilitate different endoscopic procedures such as:

• Colonoscopy
• Cystoscopy
• Bronchoscopy
• Oesophago-Gastro-Duodenoscopy (OGD)
• Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP)
• Capsule Endoscopy* (5 working days in advance booking is necessary)

Price Information (DAE & Non-DAE Package)

1. DAE Package (Referred by Canossa Outpatient Department)

• This package refers to a fixed Package Fee that covers doctors’ fees and hospital fees charges in respect of procedure-related standard items and drugs of the intended procedure(s).
• The package fee will be estimated and may be subsequently adjusted to a higher level, according to the relevant category (as explained below), as determined by the doctor.

Endoscopy DAE Packages cover:

1. Basic medications & consumables
2. Endoscopic report
3. General medical equipment
4. Use of recovery room
5. Helicobacter pylori test for gastroscopy
6. Histopathology fee
7. Endoscopist fee and Anaesthetist fee

Items not covered under the Endoscopy DAE Package

1. Room charge (> 6 hours) / Companion bed. 
   Please reference in-patient hospital charges if stay more than 6 hours. 
2. Doctor's ward visit fees (if applicable).
3. Additional procedure, medications and treatment unrelated to the package procedure, including diagnostic procedures, specialist consultations, and miscellaneous items.
4. All discharge medication are subject to additional charges. 
5. Any charges or services arising before admission or after discharge, including pre-admission consultations and post-discharge follow-up visits. 
6. Any treatment related to pre-existing medical conditions, co-morbidity, or ongoing chronic disease.
7. Meal /Catering service.  
8. For items specifically excluded from this package, please refer to the individual fee budget estimation form.
9. Additional charges arising from complications related to the relevant procedure.
10. This package is an outpatient service. The doctor reserves the right to determine the suitability of this package for each patient based on individual circumstances.
11. The above package is applicable for designated doctors only.
12. Patient must be assessed by our resident doctor, and maybe further referred to specialist doctor in order to use the Non-DAE Endoscopy package.  Extra cost maybe incurred and patient may not be able to use the package.

2. Non-DAE Package

• The budget estimation is for reference only. Final payments are subject to charges incurred from treatment, procedures, and services received by the patient.
• The item price refers to the endoscopy procedure fees that cover hospital charges in respect of procedure-related standard items and drugs of the intended procedure(s).
• Doctor fees, anesthetist fees (if any), and doctor-procedure fees will be charged separately, depending on the individual doctor.
• Pathology charges, room charges, meal services, additional investigations, procedures, services, medications, treatment, and miscellaneous items unrelated to the intended procedure(s) will be charged accordingly.
• For items specifically excluded from this package*, please refer to the individual fee budget estimation form.

Items not covered under the endoscopy procedure item price:

1. Extra use of haemostasis devices and accessories in complicated cases.
2. Specimen fees will be charged according to the pathology bills issued by the designated pathology laboratory, with administrative fees.
3. Other procedure(s) that occurred as followed by the intended procedure(s), e.g., haemorrhoid banding, haemorrhoid ligation etc.
