Head of Procurement & Logistic

Job Duties:
- Lead and manage the Procurement Department to ensure effective procurement planning and logistics operations.
- Oversee sourcing, procurement, and contracting of materials, supplies, equipment, and related services (including car park services) to support hospital operations.
- Develop, implement, and maintain procurement policies and procedures that uphold transparency, fairness, and ethical vendor relationships, in compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, materials, and processes to enhance quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and continuity of supply.
- Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and supply risks to inform procurement strategies.
- Establish and maintain robust reporting systems and performance metrics for procurement and inventory management.
- Ensure effective inventory control and optimal stock levels to support clinical and operational needs.
- Lead, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, productivity, and professional growth.
Requirement:
- Degree holder in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in procurement and logistics management, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.
- Proven leadership experience with strong team management capabilities.
- Solid knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
- Familiarity with Hong Kong regulatory requirements related to procurement and occupational safety.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and procurement or ERP systems.
