在一般情况下，5至10毫升新鲜静脉血液样本可作为化学分析, 收集血液样本后，放置在正确的收集容器, 样本应一起与申请表单送到化验室。收到的样本如沒连同申请表单送到化验室,该样本将不获受理并会退回所发送部门。所有样本在运输过程中请保持在摄氏4度。
