Job Duties:

  • Report to General Manager / Support Service Manager
  • Oversee daily operations of support services, including housekeeping, laundry, waste management, and patient transport, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency
  • Supervise and motivate a team of 50+ support staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, to foster a collaborative and professional work environment
  • Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures and infection control measures
  • Ensure all support services comply with hospital policies and infection control policies. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments
  • Conduct quality control checking to ensure all rooms, common areas and all offices are cleaned and maintained to high standards
  • Assist in developing and monitoring budgets for support services, optimizing resource allocation while maintaining service quality
  • Collaborate with other departments and wards to address patient and staff needs, ensuring seamless integration of support services into hospital operations
  • Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of service operations, staff performance, and compliance activities within regulatory guidelines
  • Perform any other tasks assigned by the senior management

 

 Requirement:

  • Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant experience or Higher Diploma holder with at least 10 years of solid experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Holder of Higher Diploma or Degree in Healthcare Management, Hotel Management, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Knowledge of cleaning best practices, chemicals, equipment and procedures is an advantage
  • Knowledge of hospital operations or healthcare administration is a plus
