Meals

All meals are prepared in the hospital kitchen according to menus designed by our catering department.

Visitors may purchase food and drink from the hospital canteen which is open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Telephone Service

Dial "9" for an outside line.  Dial "0" for the operator and to  arrange long-distance calls.  General ward patients should use one of the several public phones available.  

Gift Shop

A gift shop on the ground floor offers for sale flowers, small gift items, health snacks, newspapers, greeting cards, etc.  Opening hours are from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays,  11:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sunday and public holiday.

Religious Services

Mass (in English) is celebrated in the chapel, 5th floor chapel at 6:35 am, followed by Eucharistic Adoration from 8:00am to 9:00 am (Mon-Sat). Masses on Sunday are at 7:30 am (in English) and at 11:00 am (in Italian). A priest visits Catholic patients weekly and other patients on request. A Canossian sister from the Pastoral Care Unit is available for general visits. For special needs or requests for a priest, call extension 131. Daily Gospel message can be heard by dialling 132 (English), 133 (Cantoese), or 134 (Putonghua). Free religious video is broadcast on the AV channel from 1:30 pm to 9:00 pm. The Chapel is open from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm.

Miscellaneous

• Visiting hours from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
   

• Car parking is available for visitors and patients and is charged hourly.  Rates are posted at the car park entrance.  For the convenience of dropping off and picking up,  there is no charge for visits under 10 minutes.
   

• Patients and visitors are requested to refrain from smoking.
   

• Staff members are not permitted to solicit tips or inducements.
   

• Any suggestions to improve our services are welcome and can be dropped in the suggestion boxes on Ground Floor (Lobby or by the Pharmacy) or left with the ward sister or department Head.  Or, send email to us.

• 24-hour out-patient clinic staffed by four experienced medical officers.
   

• Specialists in all major disciplines are available for consultation by appointment.
   

• General physical check-up schemes, well-woman clinic, baby and child health service, coronary risk assessment, day surgery and many other services are also available.
