Accounts Clerk –Cashier
Job Duties
- Perform inpatient / outpatient cashier function and review hospital bills for patients and insurance companies for payment.
- Prepare Inpatient and Outpatient bills to Insurance Company for bill settlement
- Perform daily settlement of hospital invoices & reconcile daily collection for bank-in
- Prepare hospital accounts comprising monthly reconciliations, monthly income and expenditure accounts and other supporting schedules
- Co-ordinate externally with bankers, auditors, insurance companies & consultants
- Answer enquires from patients, insurance companies, doctors and other stakeholders
- Coordinate with the outside service providers such as other hospitals, private nursing companies, pathology laboratory etc. on services out-sourced to the third parties
- Assist in ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Proficient in MS applications (including Excel & Word)
- Require to work 40 hours per week and on shift between 8am-9pm
- Accounting experience is preferred
- Experience cashier with excellent customer service skills
