| On
behalf of the Conference Committee, Sponsors, Workshop Leaders
and presenters of Hospital Management Asia 2002, it is our
pleasure to inform you that your entry "Add mission
of Speed and Accuracy to Admission" was among the finalists
in the Technical Service Improvement Project category of
the Asian Hospital Management Awards 2002. This is a significant
achievement and your hospital deserves our congratulations.
With 92 entries from 33 hospitals in 11 countries vying
for the Awards, we had a very difficult time judging the
entries. Many of the entries, like yours, were impressive.
In the end, we had to make some tough decisions, and the
nod for most outstanding entries in the Technical Service
Improvement Project category went to National Heart Institute
of Malaysia ("Single sample for serum work areas in
clinical chemistries, special chemistries and immunology")
and Singapore General Hospital ("The Six Sigma Strategy
to Quality & Increased Productivity at the Department
of Diagnostic Radiology").
Be
that as it may, being a finalist is recognition that your
hospital's entry was among the most outstanding in Technical
Service Improvement Project. We will send you your official
finalist's certificate immediately after the Gala Awards
night on September 6 at Le Royal Meridien in Bangkok. |
